Application Process for the Postgraduate Study
Step 1 -
Contact us to set an appointment with an academic counselor. Discuss with the academic counselor your programme options given your background.
 
Step 2 -
Decide on your academic programme and your desired mode of study. Assess the requirements for admission to your chosen course and your current qualifications for application.
 
Step 3 -
Obtain an application form from IAMEFS for your academic programme and complete the application form. Coordinate with IAMEFS in obtaining other requirements or taking the GMAT, if needed (not required for all).
 
Step 4 -
Put-together the following application requirements:
 
    1. Completed application form. If eligible for exemption or credit transfer, complete the relevant portion in the application form.
 
    2. Original proof of identification (showing your full name or any changes to your name) and date of birth. This must be in the form of one of the following: (a) birth certificate; (b) marriage certificate; (c) passport; (d) deed poll/voter’s ID; (e) national ID card; (f) aliens registration certificate or statutory declaration.*
 
   3. Original academic and/or professional certificate(s) showing the award/qualification obtained (where applicable).
 
    4. Original official transcript of academic records and/or statement of professional studies (certified by the institution at which your qualification was obtained).
 
    5. Original GMAT test certificate (if applicable).
 
    6. Employment curriculum vitae (CV)
 
    7. Application fee
 
* If an original certificate is unavailable for any reason, you may either submit what evidence you have relating to the qualification(s) or await the initial response of the University of London to your application. You will then be advised exactly what evidence you need to submit.
 
Please note: The University of London reserves the right to ask for further evidence of your qualification(s) if required.
 
Step 5 -
Identify 2 referees and ask them to complete the Referee’s Report: Academic/Work related form included in the application form packet. IAMEFS can arrange for a courier service and coordinate with your referee in sending the Referee’s Report or provide your referees envelopes with pre-paid postage for sending the Referees Report to the Postgraduate Admission Office of the University of London External System.
 
Step 6 -
Submit the application packet to IAMEFS. IAMEFS will photocopy your documents and have them verified by the British Council. IAMEFS will likewise obtain an official translation for any document not in English. The original documents, except for the official transcript of academic records, will be returned to you before the application packet is mailed to London.
 
Step 7 -
The University of London will send an acknowledgment receipt through IAMEFS, with a corresponding reference number,  within 3 weeks from the submission of your application.  Your application will be processed only after the University of London has received your application packet and reference letters. You will receive the decision on your application through IAMEFS within 2-6 weeks from the issuance of an acknowledgment receipt.
 
 
Please submit application to IAMEFS by 26 September 2009 for the November 2009 intake or
15 January 2010 for the March 2010 intake.
