About us
The International Academy of Management and Economics (IAME) was one of the first international business schools of the country, operating since 1979 with an MBA programme that brought together faculty and students from four continents. In 1985, IAME became a locally registered corporation offering undergraduate and graduate courses. In continuous pursuit for academic excellence, it formed the International Academy of Management and Economics for Foreign Studies (IAMEFS) to work on making quality academic programmes from higher education institutions based abroad accessible in the Philippines. IAMEFS is the recognized supporting institution to the University of London External System in the Philippines.
University of London External System
The University of London is a federal university composed of 19 colleges and small institutions including the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Royal Holloway. The University of London was the first in the world to offer distance learning education in 1858. The External System is the flexible route to a University of London degree. Diploma, Bachelors, or Masters courses can be completed anywhere in the world through distance learning and flexible study. They work with supporting institutions to market their programmes, deliver certain classes based on subject guides prepared by academics in London, and provide other administrative and academic support to assist registered students in their study as needed.
